The album begins with a chopped hip-hop beat clunking along an ambient drone and some chords. A real return to the glorious past. It’s no coincidence that Fabrizio and Marco D’Arcangelo have combined elements of electro hooks with ambient atmospheres since the early 90’s. Heavily influenced by Richard D. James, each sound architecture seems perfectly dated, showing the remarkable skills of the duo. You reach all the experimental peculiarities of the two Roman brothers project, who paid also tribute to Roberto Lupi, the man behind gravitational harmony’s theories, with their last track, featuring classic synths and sequencers.
